And finally, I found one cafe at Borobudur which is not only cool, but has a cake that tastes… ah, heavenly! Meet, Kedai Bukit Rhema, a where to eat at Borobudur which is my new favorite. Come on, follow my experience!

Finding a Hidden Gem: Kedai Bukit Rhema, Not Just an Ordinary Cafe

Honestly, at first I didn’t have high expectations. The location being one with the tourist area Bukit Rhema (or better known as Gereja Ayam) made me think, “Ah, the menu is just ordinary like other tourist attractions.” Turns out, I was wrong!

As soon as you enter the shop area, the cool atmosphere and views of the green Menoreh hills are immediately welcoming. This is not just a place to drink coffee, but a place to ‘heal’ for a moment. This shop is the answer for those who are looking for a place hanging out near Candi Borobudur but with a different atmosphere. While waiting for my order, I really enjoyed the gentle breeze and the cool view.

Honestly, at first I didn’t think there would be an activity this fun. As someone who likes gardening but doesn’t have land, hydroponics has always been my dream. And now, I can experience firsthand the process from planting to harvesting 100 planting holes! This is not just about picking vegetables, but a… experience at Borobudur which is very complete. Initially Curious: Is There Hydroponics in Borobudur?

The story goes, I was hanging out casually at Kedai Bukit Rhema after being satisfied with taking photos at Gereja Ayam.
